As many of you know I am totally committed to a natural lifestyle. That includes using essential oils. I have cleared out my medicine cabinet of the standard drug store aids and pharmaceuticals and replaced them with certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils – which is the only grade of oils I will use for ingesting. I use essential oils in my cooking, for cleaning, first aid, personal care, home remedies and for natural support of my health. Because my family has adopted a natural way to support our health, we have less and less reliance on chemicals and drugs.
It’s using the oils consistently that provides the most benefit. Let me illustrate why consistency is important. If you choose to adopt healthy eating habits, you wouldn’t just once purchase organic food for your dinner. You’d be looking to buy the best organic products for the maximum value every time. That’s going to provide you with the best health results. And that’s what I do with my essential oils. I don’t just buy one here and there. I figure out what I need to maintain the quality of my health or boost some aspect that is needing help. And I plan this the same way I plan my grocery shopping trips. If I am low on an oil, for example, that I use to support my digestive system, then I make that purchase. If I need add something because of a specific need, then I add that to my purchase. But I always have my “oil pantry” stocked, the same way I have my food pantry stocked. It’s really about understanding how essential oils can benefit the body.
I’ve added an infographic to show when and how to use essential oils to get the most benefit from them. If you want to continue the discussion of essential oils, post a comment below or email directly at angela@yourhealthunbound.com.
