If you want something creamy but fruit-flavored, try this mango cream. Pureed until silky smooth and then combined with whipping cream make it a rich decadent texture. You can substitute any fruit and juice to mix up flavor but remember citrus fruits don’t all blend well with cream. You can try adding an essential oil to achieve a flavor you like. You can even substitute water for the juice to keep the flavors to the flavors you add together. Top with some of the whipping cream. To lightly sweeten the whipping, cream, whip with 1 tablespoon of organic maple syrup.
Sunday Sweet - Mango Cream
Ingredients
- 1 mango, peeled and diced
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 cup whipping cream
Instructions
- Process first 3 ingredients in a blender.
- Blend for 1 minute, or until pureed.
- Pour puree into a small bowl and stir in honey.
- Beat whipping cream at medium speed with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into mango puree, using a knife to swirl in a marbled effect.
