Chuck Gerba of the University of Arizona states that “cellphones carry 10 times more bacteria than most toilet seats.” He contends that people clean their toilets more frequently than their phones. The main issue is that people share their phones with others and therefore share the germs.
Cellphones come in contact with our hands, faces, and in close proximity to our mouths. Before using other person’s phone, consider wiping it down so not to pick up the germs left there from wherever that phone has been. Remember, there are plenty of people who talk on their cellphones while in the restroom. Just saying…
