Curcumin, the bioactive compound found in TURMERIC, is responsible for its vivid yellow color. As well as adding a warm, earthy aroma to your cooking, evidence suggests that the curcumin in turmeric may also help protect individuals at risk of cardiovascular disease by reducing LDL (Low-density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels and blood lipids, such as triglycerides. What’s more, researchers have shown that consuming small doses of curcumin daily can improve symptoms in inflammatory bowel disease.
Studies have shown that turmeric boosts metabolism and increases fat burning which help with weight loss in addition to many other proven health benefits.
