We all should drink more water but do you know why?
It helps us many ways. Here are just 5:
- Water helps keep our skin moisturized.
- Water helps flush toxins through your kidneys.
- Water helps keep regular movement through our bowels.
- Water helps with natural detoxification in the body.
- Water helps keep the fluids in the body in balance.
Here’s a simple tip on how to drink more water. Make it taste better. Most people find water pretty bland tasting. That’s why the sugary sodas are so popular. They fill that satisfaction quotient. But they are so bad for you that it’s not worth the taste.
We have a large glass container that I fill with filtered water and add 2-3 drops of an essential oil that makes the water taste so much better. Our favorite right now is Wild Orange.
Make sure to use a glass or steel container especially with citrus oils. The natural chemical compounds in them react with plastic containers.
