Green Beans Cooked in Bacon

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds green beans, snapped
  • 1 pound bacon (preferably organic, uncured)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Steam the green beans lightly, do not overcook. about 7-8 minutes.
  2. While the beans are steaming, cook the bacon in wok or large skillet until browned.
  3. When the beans are steamed, drain any water and place beans in wok.
  4. Quickly stir fry beans in bacon until done. Do not overcook.
  5. Salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve while hot or pack in individual containers for weekly meals.
